1. About Us

Vama Foods is a Canadian retailer of Italian food products, espresso, and related goods, operating out of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. References to "we," "us," or "our" throughout these Terms refer to Vama Foods.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By browsing our website, creating an account, or submitting an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, legally capable of entering into a binding contract, and that you accept these Terms in full.

3. Products & Pricing

We make every effort to display accurate product descriptions, images, and prices. Prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to change without notice. In the event of a pricing error we reserve the right to cancel or adjust an order and will notify you promptly.

4. Payment

We accept the following payment methods:

• Cash — accepted for local in-person transactions and local deliveries at the time of delivery.
• Cheque — payable to Vama Foods. Orders paid by cheque will not be processed until the cheque has cleared.
• Interac e-Transfer — send to the email address provided at checkout. Orders are held until payment is received and confirmed.

Full payment is required before an order is dispatched or delivered unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Delivery & Shipping

Local Delivery — Winnipeg, Manitoba

We offer local delivery to customers located within Winnipeg, Manitoba. A minimum order of $75.00 CAD is required to qualify for local delivery. Delivery availability, scheduling, and any applicable local delivery fees will be communicated at checkout or upon order confirmation.

Shipping Outside Winnipeg

Customers located outside of Winnipeg may still place orders; however, additional shipping fees will apply. Shipping costs are calculated based on destination, package weight, and carrier rates, and will be presented to you before your order is finalised. We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier or customs authorities.

Delivery Timelines

Estimated delivery timelines are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any significant delays.

6. Order Cancellations & Returns

Due to the perishable and food-safety nature of many of our products, all sales are final unless an item arrives damaged or materially different from what was ordered. If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt with photos and a description of the issue. We will work with you to provide a replacement or credit at our discretion.

Non-perishable items may be eligible for return within 14 days of receipt, provided they are unopened and in original condition. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, graphics, and product descriptions — is the property of Vama Foods or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Vama Foods shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of this site or any products purchased through it. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the order giving rise to that claim.

9. Privacy

Your personal information is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy (available on request). By placing an order you consent to the collection and use of your information as described therein.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Manitoba and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Winnipeg, Manitoba.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the date of the most recent revision. Continued use of this site or placement of an order after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
